At 08:22 a call was received to what appeared to be a fire in a domestic dwelling. Eleven firefighters on two appliances from St Just and Penzance were mobilised to the scene. On crews arrival it was confirmed that there was a fire outside of the building confined to a wheelie bin. One hose reel was used to extinguish the accidental fire which had been caused by hot ashes being put in the bin.
