Appliances from Penzance, St. Just and Hayle were mobilised to this incident, on arrival there was found to be a fire on the ground floor of a three storey mid terrace domestic property, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a high pressure hosereel jet, the scene was checked with a thermal imaging camera and the positive pressure fan was used for smoke clearance. An ambulance was requested and attended to treat one person for the effects of smoke inhalation.

The call was made after residents were alerted by the activation of smoke alarms.
