On receipt of this call, appliances from Padstow and Wadebridge were mobilised, on arrival the incident was classified as 'persons reported' and further resources were requested, an appliance from St. Columb was mobilised, the incident involved a two storey mid terraced property measuring six by five metres, the fire being on the ground floor, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a high pressure hosereel proceeded to search the premises and extinguish a fire involving a tumble dryer, it was soon established that all persons were accounted for. An ambulance attended and treated two casualties for the effects of smoke inhalation. No further details are available for this incident.
