On receipt of this call appliances from Liskeard, Bodmin and Lostwithiel were mobilised, on arrival the crews found smoke issuing from a bungalow and classified it as 'persons reported', it was quickly established that all persons were accounted, the crew established that there was a fire in the kitchen that had spread to the roof space, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, the positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the premises. The fire was classified as accidental.
