On receipt of this call it was classified as 'persons reported' and appliances from Penzance and St. Ives were mobilised, on arrival the crews found a fire in the kitchen of a fifteen by eight metre cottage, all persons were out of the property, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a high pressure hosereel jet, an ambulance attended and treated one person for the effects of smoke inhalation. There are no further details regarding this incident.
