On receipt of this call, both appliances from Newquay were mobilised along with a Wholetime Officer, on arrival at the scene the incident was classified as 'Persons Reported' and a further appliance from St. Columb was mobilised. The fire involves a domestic property consisting of three floors and a basement, measuring eight by twenty metres, the fire is believed to be in the rear kitchen, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using high pressure hosereels and main jets at this time to fight the fire.

Update 2338 hours: All persons have now been accounted for and the fire has been extinguished.
