Two fire appliances from Launceston Community Fire Station and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised to a road traffic collision with a person trapped. On arrival the crews from Launceston confirmed that everyone was out of a vehicle that was on its side on the carriageway. A casualty was in the care of an ambulance crew. The crew assisted with scene safety.

There were several other collisions reported in this area following a hail storm that Devon & Cornwall Police were also dealing with.

Drivers are urged to slow down and take extra care when weather conditions deteriorate.
