Appliances from Helston and St Keverne were mobilised to this incident, on arrival the crews found the domestic property heavily smokelogged, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a hosereel extinguished a fire involving a chimney and then continued naturally ventilate the property.

One male casualty was treated by ambulance for suspected carbon monoxide poising, there are no further details at this time
