At 19:25hrs the Critical Control Centre received a call reporting a road traffic collision, where a vehicle had left the road near to the Treluswell roundabout. It was unclear if any persons were trapped. Two appliances from Falmouth Community Fire Station, a Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon Fire Station and a wholetime officer were mobilised.

At 19:35hrs crews on scene confirmed no persons trapped, no injuries and crews were making the vehicle safe.

Firefighters removed the vehicle to a safe place, in a nearby layby, to allow the traffic to start flowing on the main road. The driver of the vehicle was left in the care of friends.

At 20:05hrs all appliances and the officer had left the incident.
