On receipt of this call both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be a fire involving a mobile home, the attending crew classified the incident as 'persons reported' and a further appliance from Fowey was mobilised, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the mobile home with a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish a fire, it was quickly established that there were no persons within the property, but Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel rescued two dogs. The fire involved a cooker.
