Appliances from Redruth and Camborne were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival the fire was found to be in the bedroom on the first floor. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel to extinguish the fire, the positive pressure fan was also used to ventilate the premises.
