Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call reporting a fire in a wheelie bin on Miners Row, Redruth. One pump from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station was immediately mobilised by Fire Control.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed a fire in a wheelie bin, which was well alight. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews confirmed arson was suspected and Devon and Cornwall Police were informed.
