On receipt of this call the line rescue appliance and a support appliance from Tolvaddon were mobilised, backed up by a resource from Bodmin, as well as a wholetime officer. On arrival the crews found a dog stuck down a fifteen to twenty metre dry shaft, line rescue equipment was set out and used to successfully recover the dog and reunite it with its owners.
