Two appliances from Liskeard and one from Looe Fire Stations were mobilised to this incident. On arrival smoke was issuing from a barn conversion used as a holiday cottage. The barn measured approximately 5m by 5m and consisted of two storeys the fire was on the first floor in the kitchen area. The crew used a total of four breathing apparatus, one hosereel, safety jet and positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke. The fire is now out and appliances are leaving the scene.
