Chimney Fire

Fire crews from Truro, Tolvaddon and Falmouth Community Fire Stations were mobilised to a report smoke in the attic of a property. Firefighters confirmed a smell of burning in the attic of the three storey semi-detached property, measuring 15 metres by 20 metres. The fire was confined to the chimney and the adjacent property was checked for fire spread but firefighters confirmed that it was clear.
The fire crews used a thermal imaging camera and chimney kit to extinguish the fire, with the last crew leaving the scene at 2320hrs.
