Due to the high winds across the County this morning, we have had several incidents where the wind has loosened structures and trees and caused a potential hazard to the public.

We have mobilised resources from Mullion, Bude, Newquay and Perranporth, who have attended the scene and proceeded to make safe the structures.

We are currently at Hayle Retail Park attempting to make safe the roof structure, the car park has been evacuated, one appliance from Hayle and the aerial ladder platform from Truro are in attendance, the A30 has not been affected as in the previous incident and remains open.

Our crews have now left the Hayle Retail Park. The incident has been handed over to contractors.
