Weather Warnings and Related Incidents

With Met Office forecasts of strong winds and heavy rain due to affect Cornwall over the coming hours, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is warning residents and visitors to be prepared and take precautions where necessary.

In the last few hours Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service has attended incidents for flooded property's and dangerous structures blowing in the wind.


These include:

06:06 - Flooding inside premise - Beach Road, Perranporth
06:23 - Dangerous trampoline removed from a tree - Riverside, Launceston
08:42 - A skylight hanging dangerously over a public walk way - Pentire Avenue, Newquay
