At 1635hrs three appliances proceeded to a first floor bedroom fire, in a property near Par. The appliances from Lostwithiel, Fowey and St Austell attended with a wholetime officer.

Crews used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a safety jet to extinguish the fire.
A crew using breathing aparatus went into an adjacent property to ensure the fire had not spread.

At 1746hrs the fire was confirmed as being extinguished and that it was confined and accidental.
