Road Traffic Collision

Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received calls from Ambulance and Police to attend a multiple vehicle road traffic collision on the A30, Five Lanes, Launceston.
One pump from Launceston, one pump and the rescue tender from Bodmin Community Fire Station and an on duty officer were immediately mobilised by Fire Control.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed a two vehicle road traffic collision with one person trapped.
Crews are currently using two sets of crash rescue equipment and are making good progress.
Update @ 20:46 - All persons now released and in the care of the Ambulance service. Crews are making up equipment and ensuring vehicles are made safe before heading to home stations.
