Fire In Fuse Board

Two appliances from Falmouth Fire Station and a Flexi Duty Officer were mobilised to this incident. An elderly occupant was woken by her smoke alarm to find smoke in the kitchen area of her property. On arrival the crew wearing two sets of breathing apparatus and using one hosereel and a thermal image camera located the fire in the fuse board in a kitchen cupboard. The fire was already out but crews carried out a full inspection to make sure all was safe. Western Power were also in attendance.
