Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call from South West Ambulance Service reporting a patient who had fallen down a bank near the A390 at Tresillian.

One pump from Truro, the rope rescue tender from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station along with a whole time officer were immediately mobilised by Fire Control.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed one causality approximately six meters up a steep bank. Crews assisted Ambulance with patient and identifying the easiest route. Crews are currently making good progress setting up line rescue and clearing access with small tools. Casualty is stable.

Update @ 15:02 - Patient now in the care of the Ambulance Service. Crews are delayed making up equipment.
