Road Traffic Collision

Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call from Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue service reporting a Road Traffic Collision on the A39, Crimp. One pump from Hartlands (Devon appliance), one pump from Bude and the rescue tender from Bodmin Community Fire Stations along with a whole time officer was immediately mobilised by Fire Control.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed a single vehicle road traffic collision, the vehicle on its side with two persons trapped and Police, Ambulance and Air Ambulance in attendance. Crews used one reciprocating saw to release the casualties and made the vehicle safe.
