Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call from a member of the public reporting a Fire in the open near to Rocky Lane, St Agnes. Two pumps from Perranporth and two pumps from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station along with a whole time officer were immediately mobilised by Fire Control.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed a property fire and the building was well alight. Crews are currently using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets at stage one and crews have sectorised the incident.

Update @ 10:11 - Breathing apparatus has been increased to four and two hose reel jets.

Update @ 10:40 - Breathing apparatus has now been discontinued. Crews are now damping down hot spots
