At 14:43 appliances from Helston, Mullion and Falmouth were mobilized to a report of a smoke alarm sounding in a property and a smell of burning coming from the property.
On arrival the crew found a first floor flat smoke logged and used 2 breathing apparatus to search the flat for any casualties. Using a hose reel jet. thermal imaging camera and two breathing apparatus a fire in the kitchen was extinguished.
There were no persons in the property however a family pet dog was rescued from the property.
