One fire appliance from Falmouth and one fire appliance from Helston Community Fire Stations attended a report of smoke in a building. The building had been evacuated.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish a fire to the rear of the main hall, in the single storey school building, measuring 17 metres by 35 metres.
The fire was started deliberately and Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
