The Critical Control Centre received a call at 22:07 reporting a fire inside a derelict building on St Clare Street, Penzance.

Appliances from Penzance and Hayle were initially mobilized, along with a whole time officer.

At 22:26 the attending crew requested make pumps 3. An appliance from Tolvaddon Fire Station was mobilized.

Teams using breathing apparatus are making good progress. Two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to help extinguish the fire and monitor hot spots.
