Road Traffic Collision

Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call from a member of the public reporting a Road Traffic Collision on A388, Launceston. One pump from Launceston, one pump from Callington and the rescue tender Bodmin Community Fire Station were immediately mobilised by Fire Control along with a whole time officer.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed a two vehicle road traffic collision. Crews stabilised the vehicle for extrication of an elderly person. Crews made both vehicles safe, made up equipment and cleared debris from the roadside.
