Person Trapped In Lift

Our Critical Control Centre received a call this evening from a concerned Mum who's son was stuck in a lift and a lift engineer was over two hours away.
The young adult male stuck in the lift, was becoming distressed in the confined space.
An appliance from St Austell Fire Station attended the block of flats and located the lift on the 7th floor. The crew worked to release two people stuck in the lift and at 21:54 reported the two males had been rescued.
The crew waited on scene until the lift engineer arrived. They returned to home station at 22:03.
