Chimney Fire

At 19:23 this evening one appliance from Mullion was mobilised to a chimney fire.
On arrival firefighters used small gear to cut away and gain access to the fire. The fire was extinguished and confirmed as accidental and confined.
During 2015/16 Cornwall firefighters tackled 124 chimney fires. Most chimney fires are preventable by having them swept regularly.
