The Critical Control Centre mobilised two appliances from Bude to a tractor on fire.

On arrival crews discovered the tractor well alight. One hose reel jets was used to extinguish the fire.

The fire was confirmed as accidental and confined.

Every year we attend numerous fires on farms, where buildings are completely destroyed by fire, often with the loss of large amounts of stock, straw, hay, farm machinery, chemicals and even livestock.

We have produced a booklet in partnership with Cornish Mutual and NFU Mutual to help farms comply with the new fire laws.
