Appliances from Falmouth and Redruth were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival crews found that the fire involved the cooker and had spread to the floorboards of the kitchen. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel to extinguish the fire, crews then proceeded to use the positive pressure fan to ventilate the property.
