The first report for this incident stated there was a two vehicle collision with persons trapped. Crews from Helston and Mullion and the rescue tender from Camborne were mobilised to the incident. On arrival there were found to be five casualties which were trapped in two cars. Police and ambulance were in attendance. Fire Brigade personnel used crash rescue equipment to release the casualties and give general assistance also the Co-responders from Helston and Mullion gave valuable assistance, unfortunately two persons were pronounced deceased at the scene.
