Several calls were received for a reported lorry fire, initially one appliance from Truro were mobilised to the incident. On arrival there were found to be three caravans and a residental lorry alight and persons were reported at the scene, a further appliance from Truro was mobilised. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a jet was also in use, LPG cylinders were removed from the fire, the fire was brought under control at 2230 hours. All persons were accounted for. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
