Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received multiple calls from members of the public reporting a shed fire at a property in Riverside, Angarrack. One pump from Hayle, one pump from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station and a wholetime officer was immediately mobilised by Critical Control.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed one shed well alight. Crews extinguished the fire using four breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.

At 05:33 crews confirmed the fire was out. Crews damped down the area and were turning over debris to check for hotspots.
