On receipt of this initial call, both appliances from Falmouth were mobilised, on arrival at the incident further resources were requested and an appliance from Truro attended as well as resources from Penzance. The crews were faced with a single storey garage which was well alight and containing several vehicles, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the scene and used high pressure hosereel jets and also a foam jet and a main jet. Western Power attended to isolate power to the building. Devon & Cornwall Police attended and closed roads in the vicinity. The incident was scaled down by 0900 hours. A Fire Investigation is taking place.
