On receipt of this call both appliances from Penzance and and appliance from St. Just were mobilised, whilst on route a large plume of smoke was seen in the vicinity of the incident and a 'make pumps four' message was sent, a further appliance from St. Ives was mobilised.
On arrival a property measuring approximately fifteen by tem metres was well alight, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used main jets and high pressure hosereel jets at the scene.
Update 1946 hours: The fire has now been extinguished, crews are damping down and turning over monitoring for hot spots. Arson is suspected, Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
