At 12:36 our Critical Control Centre mobilized two appliances and an officer from Tolvaddon Fire Station, and an appliance from Hayle Fire Station to a business park in Tolvaddon. A local business had reported a strong smell of burning coming from their boiler room.

On arrival crews investigated the boiler room using breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera.

At 13:17hrs a message was sent back to the Critical Control Room stating a small fire in a heating pump was out on arrival and crews conducted an inspection only. After liaising with the heating engineer on site all appliances returned to home stations by 13:30hrs.
