Overturned Milk Tanker

Treluswell, Penryn at 29/04/2018 20:51

An appliance from Falmouth Community Fire Station is currently in attendance at Treluswell Roundabout, Penryn working alongside our colleagues at Devon and Cornwall Police, after a tanker carrying milk has overturned.

Our crew have reported that nothing has leaked out of the tanker at present and there is no risk to the environment at this time. The Critical Control Centre have informed the Environment Agency as a matter of precaution.

The tanker company has dispatched another vehicle to decant the milk before a recovery operation can begin.
