Person Trapped

Cornwall Fire and Rescue service received a call from the Ambulance service reporting a person trapped under a lawn mower in Penpol Terrace, Hayle. One pump from Hayle and the rescue tender from Tolvaddon Community Fire Station was immediately mobilised by Critical Control along with a whole time officer.
On arrival the officer in charge confirmed one person trapped by their foot under a ride on lawn mower. The person was released using crash rescue equipment.
The scene was left safe and in the hands of the Ambulance service.
