Two appliances and a whole time officer are in attendance to a controlled burn that is out of control. Crews are using beaters and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

If you are planning a large bonfire in Cornwall, inform the Fire and Rescue Service before you start by calling our Critical Control Centre on 0203 162 2240.

Tell the Critical Control Operator:
• Your location.
• Time you intend to start burning.
• Confirm when you have finished burning.
