Both appliances from Newquay were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival the crews found the house heavily smokelogged with the fire situated on the first floor. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a main jet at the incident, after the fire was extinguished the positive pressure ventilation fan was used to ventilate the property. Crews were delayed for a time, with the last crew returning at approximately 1600 hours.
