Appliances from Perranporth, Truro, Redruth and Camborne, also the Command Support Vehicle from Truro and the Decontamination Unit from Camborne were mobilised to this incident, which was classed as a Hazardous Materials Incident. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed at the incident using jets. Crews were delayed for a long period ventilating the property after the fire was extinguished. The last crew returned to station at approximately 1930 hours.
