Classroom Fire

2 appliances from Launceston and one appliance from Callington attended. A single storey temporary outbuilding that had been used as classrooms was 25% severely damaged by fire. The remainder of the building was damaged by heat and smoke. The crews wearing breathing apparatus used 2 jets to extinguish the fire and positive pressure ventilation was used to remove the smoke.
A Fire Investigation Team attended. Arson is suspected and the police are now dealing.
