Assisted Paramedics With Casualty From Train

The brigade received a request from paramedics to assist in removing a casualty from a train. The train was in a cutting and assistance was required in carrying the casualty up to a nearby road bridge at Trescobeas Road, Falmouth. This is between Penmere railway station and Penryn. 2 appliances attended from Falmouth and the aerial ladder platform attended from Truro. The firefighters brought the casualty up to the road bridge by 2045hrs and they were left in care of paramedics. No further information is available from the Brigade on this incident.
