One appliance from Launceston attended with one appliance from Devon’s Holsworthy Fire Station, a chip pan fire at Ashwater, on the Devon side of the border. The crews wearing breathing apparatus had the fire under control by 1906hrs. The crews then used positive pressure ventilation to remove the smoke from the property.
