At 14:08 this afternoon the Critical Control Centre received a call from Devon and Cornwall Police, requesting our assistance at a road traffic collision.

Fire appliances from Truro and St Austell, along with the Rescue Tender from Tolvaddon were mobilised to the incident.

On arrival crews discovered a multiple road traffic collision with one casualty trapped. Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to remove the casualty who was left in the care of the Ambulance Service. Crews then proceeded to make the vehicles and scene safe.
