On the request from the ambulance service to assist with a casualty who had fallen onto rocks, one appliance and a wholetime officer were mobilised, on arrival the crews liaised with on scene Police and Ambulance crews to attend a person who had fallen twenty feet onto rocks, the coastguard service were also in attendance and crews assisted ambulance crews with the casualty. A search and rescue helicopter was in attendance and rescued one further casualty trapped on the top of further rocks, the main casualty was then transferred to the helicopter who then proceeded with the casualty to Derriford Hospital.
