On arrival at this incident, the appliance from Camborne found that a large amount of tyres on a silage clump were on fire, further resources were requested which came from Camborne, Penzance and Falmouth. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus at the scene and three jets using foam were used. Crews were detained for a while damping down, with the last crew returning at approximately 1900 hours.
