Initially two appliances from Camborne were mobilised to this incident. Information relayed to Fire Control stated that there was the possibility of asbestos, acetylene and propane cylinders involved. This invoked attendance by further appliances and specialist appliances. Fortunately their services were not required. The actual fire involved a single storey building approximately 10 x 10 metres, crews wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fire. Resources attending were from Camborne, Redruth and Truro. The cause of the fire was thought to be electrical.
