Initially crews from Delabole were mobilised on receipt of this call, after Fire Control received further calls to the incident, a decision was made to mobile a further appliance from Wadebridge. On arrival a flat was found to be well alight and two further appliances from Bodmin were requested, also the aerial ladder platform and incident response unit from Truro were mobilised. The fire was in the kitchen of a top floor flat, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the fire, two dogs were rescued by Brigade personnel, also persons from the flat and surrounding properties were evacuated and rehoused for the night.
